The time has come. The vaporizer we all know and love, the VaporBLUNT, is getting a new version. Introducing the first look at the VaporBLUNT 2.0 or VaporBLUNT 2.0 DLX portable vaporizer. There isn’t a ton of info out yet, but here is what we’ve got so far.
The VaporBLUNT 2.0 comes in at half the size of the original Vapor BLUNT, but a bit thicker. It is 5 3/8″ long and the diameter is about 1 7/8″ which is only a little thicker than the original. Getting this vape down to half the size is a huge achievement if it works just as effectively, which remains to be seen.
The Vapor Blunt 2 will still sport a ceramic heating element, but with a deeper and wider bowl and a screen like the original VaporBLUNT but also easier to remove and clean. There is no info on how it is easier to remove or clean, but that is what is being talked about.
The vapor path is now completely straight, unlike the first VB where it hit an angle at one point, making cleaning a pain at times. The path is stainless steel and promises to not build up material as easily as the previous polycarbonate path. The VB 2.0 also uses a ceramic heating element and heats up in about 90 seconds. When I say heats up I mean reaches full temp, not like with the original where you had to let it sit for a while after the light turned solid.
There are now 5 LED lights on the front of the new VaporBLUNT vaporizer that represent 5 different heat levels ranging from 370° Fahrenheit to 500° Fahrenheit so you no longer have to choose between only 2 heat levels. The battery is now 2 lithium ion rechargeable batteries, still held internally, and right now they say it is lasting between 4-6 full sessions before dying but have not mentioned how long they are considering a “session” to be, although the packaging says 2 hours.
When you order just the VaporBLUNT 2.0 vaporizer it looks like they are shooting for a $249 price range, which will include:
- The VaporBLUNT 2.0 Portable Vaporizer
- Oil Attachment
- Glass Straw
- Adapter for Whip Tubing
So as you can see by the oil attachment, the new Vapor Blunt will come with the ability to vaporize oils and concentrates right out of the box. It looks as though you remove the stir tool cap, which returns from the original VB, and place another cap on that has an attachment for oils. You also get a glass straw, similar to the Arizer Solo, that goes over the oil attachment for use. No telling yet if the glass straw can be used for herbs, but it looks as though you may be able to.
The deluxe kit, or VaporBLUNT 2.0 DLX, will come with everything listed above but it also includes your choice of one of four different scientific glass tube attachments for use with the VB 2. It looks like this kit right now may be retailing around $399 – $499, pricey to be sure, but these tubes also sell individually from $199 to $299 so you can see you get a good discount getting them together. They are also saying these glass attachments will be able to fit the first VaporBLUNT portable, so people who don’t want to upgrade to the new VaporBLUNT 2.0 can still take advantage fo the glass tubes.
The estimated arrival of the new VB vape is around Thanksgiving, so we don’t have all that long to wait. That is about all we know now, I’m sure a lot of more information will be leaking out in the near future considering how soon they are looking to release it and we will be sure to keep you updated here ASAP.
